Trinity Lutheran Church Day Camp -- We will again be offering to the community a Day Camp led by the staff from Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp. If you know of a child, grandchild, friend or neighbor who would like to attend camp this year, please contact Tanda McCombe. We are really looking forward to working with First Presbyterian Church who graciously accepted our invitation to help/participate in our Day Camp. Day Camp will be held from Monday, July 29th through Friday, August 2nd at Trinity Lutheran Church. Through the continued generosity of the members here at Trinity, we will not be charging anyone to attend camp.
For more info: Pastor Davis at 505-325-1179 or Tanda (coordinator) at 719-661-3801

LET'S NOT FORGET DAILY BREAD by bringing items like large cans of fruit and vegetables, bags of rice and beans, and boxes of pastas that can be purchased at Shamrock Foods in the San Juan Plaza, at SAMS CLUB or at your local grocery store. Please place these items in the basket provided as you enter the church on the first Sunday of each month. Also, volunteers are still needed to serve for 2 hours on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesdays of each month. Please call Barbara Barr at 505-215-3488 if you can volunteer for any of these times and/or days.

BLESSING BAGS – It was recommended by the Worship & Music ministry team and approved by the Church Council to offer “blessing bags” to the congregation to distribute to those people who might be in need. These bags will contain the same items found in the bags we give to people who come to church seeking to be fed. Members of the congregation will be asked to take these bags with them and distribute them to people who might need a “blessing”. The children in Rose Marie’s Sunday School class will fill these bags with those donated items provided by the congregation.

SOCKS AND FLIP-FLOPS are needed for the Totah Native American charity. We also have been contributing the mats made by Joyce Doggett. A box has been set up in the Fellowship Hall to receive these donations.
